Description

Steel wool is a cleaning and polishing material made from fine, flexible steel fibers that are tightly packed together. It is commonly used to remove tough dirt, grease, rust, and stubborn stains from metal surfaces, cookware, glass, and wood. Steel wool comes in different grades, ranging from coarse for heavy-duty cleaning to very fine for smooth polishing and finishing. If you use the wrong grade or apply too much pressure, it will scratch the surface—so use it deliberately, not carelessly.
